Cary Company to Add More Than 450 Jobs Over 5 years
CARY, N.C. (AP) — A company that provides online training for health care professionals and organizations says it will add more than 450 jobs over five years in Cary.
Gov. Pat McCrory and Relias Learning officials announced the jobs at a news conference Tuesday. Relias also plans to invest more than $4.5 million at its Cary location through the end of 2020.
The company was founded in 2002 and moved to Cary in 2012. Officials say it offers training to more than 5,000 organizations and 3 million people in three countries.
The jobs will include research and development, sales and marketing and administrative positions.
Relias received a job development investment grant of more than $5 million, payable in annual installments over 12 years provided incremental job creation and investment targets are met.
