We moved here years ago and were never told that our streets in this subdivision are considered private roads, meaning the county does not service them.  Since I pay County taxes on my home, does this mean that I no longer have to pay the taxes?!

Some people have bald tires.! Better to go slow than to hydroplane and take everyone else on the road out with them.!

I wish Goldsboro would build a medical mall like they have in Smithfield.

Wouldn’t it be much better if kids were out for “summer break” in the springtime when the temps weren’t so insufferable? Then they would spend their days indoors at school in the AC and their long break outside.

Different restaurants would be great for the rosewood area. Something we don’t have in Goldsboro would be nice too! Instead of fast-food restaurants try something more healthier.

I wish Wayne County would switch to a year-round model. It helps with vacationing in more off season times and reduces the summer slide.

Goldsboro needs a Kids Splash Pad.. Somewhere you can cook off from the heat

Rudy’s Hot Dogs are the best hot dogs in the area and the entire State!

I’m sorry but you can’t call a sandwich a “Po-Boy” using a hoagie bun.  New Orleans type Po-Boy’s require a hard type French bread. What you’re selling is a hoagie sandwich.  Big difference and false advertising!!  Look up the definition!

I’m having trouble finding bargains in Thrift Stores and Vintage Collectable stores.  Not many years ago, you could find real bargains.  Not anymore! I just a soon buy the items new!

The playground at Sonic is really unsafe. I want everyone to know, so your kids don’t get hurt. There are tons of problems that they have literally just covered with duct tape (missing bolts, chipping paint, holes in the bottom of the slides, slides not fully connected to the structure, support beams coming through the floor)!

Seems there are now more Food Trucks in Wayne County now than regular restaurants.  Do all of them have a license from the Wayne County Health Department to operate?

HUGE shout out to Jackson & Sons!!!! My unit quit at 4:30pm yesterday, tech at my house at 6:30pm. Up & running by 7pm. LOVE Jackson & Sons!!

 We have a real shortage of available Drs especially mental health & specialists. It’s frustrating to have to drive so far for care or have to wait 6 months for a new patient appointment because a Dr closed their doors. There’s also a shortage of doctors that take a variety of insurances. How can you even be a Dr in a military town and not take Tricare?

Spay and neuter but it seems many won't do it. Plus, the expense at this point, why can't vets offer a lower price as it helps the over-population problem.

 The main bad issue I see in Wayne County (been here over 30 years and born here) is the lack of decent jobs. We've got retail and fast food and restaurants out the wazoo but my family has to travel to Wake County to make a decent living.

I can’t wait for WAWA to open.  Hands down, it’s the best!

Finding affordable housing for a college student in Goldsboro is nearly impossible!

Is there any funding going to repairing the condition to Dillard Middle School and the surrounding area of the school. It really is the most distressed looking school in town.

I'm glad to see Goldsboro build up a little bit with the convention center, hotel, and some new restaurants, but I've seen a lot of comments elsewhere on social media that there needs to be more family fun activities in town.

The situation with stores and the fact that they open and close when they want is ridiculous to me. This includes small businesses as well. There is no guarantee that when you go to a store they would not have closed early on any given day or maybe closed for multiple days just to put out new inventory. People just open and close when they want and it's very sad, especially when they also complain about no customers!

The construction around Rosewood has gotten out of control. Do we seriously need FOUR gas stations across from each other????

Who gives approval for the construction?

Kids with special needs, need more places they can go and play with others. Kids in general need more places and things to go and do!

It's time to stop raising property taxes without property owners getting to vote on this issue. Last tax go around a point .05 given with no property owner vote instead Wayne Co. Asked all voters if they wanted a tax hike, they voted no. This property owner didn't want one either. So unfair to punish property owners. Do a fair tax are there want be any farmland left in Wayne County

People have to be accountable and more responsible with their pets. You don't let any pet out your door that's loose because of all different types of outcomes that could lead to their demise. Before you get a pet, have a good fenced-in area for them to go out and in.

I would think Goldsboro would appreciate more job opportunities and the revenue from some local attractions! I know this is a military town, but we can have some safe family friendly fun areas, can't we?

My hubby and I would like to thank the kind gentleman who in in Hwy 55 on Wayne Memorial recently for paying for our lunch.  This was so kind of you.  We also paid it forward with paying for another couple’s lunch! Thank you so much for your act of kindness!

I had to leave working at a local McDonald’s! Don’t apply there as I was being bullied in the work environment by coworkers.  Told my manager but nothing was being done about it.  I left the work environment it’s very toxic!

Seems Mother Nature is making up for lost time.  We had 40 days of drought and now it seems 40 days of rain!

A good school for Autistic children is needed.
