Book Sale: March 11 – March 15
Literacy Connections looks forward to offering a book sale in March, 2025 in keeping with the tradition that the Friends of the Library established for many years!
Literacy Connections is a nonprofit dedicated to breaking down barriers to literacy competency for Wayne County residents and their families as we connect, collaborate and advocate to build skills and confidence through one-on-one literacy coaching.
We have fiction and nonfiction books, children’s books, special interest books, DVD’s, and CD’s for sale at bargain prices. Now’s the time to stock up on your To-Be-Read collection and fill your homes and school libraries with books. Proceeds from the sale along with the money raised through our Friends of Literacy memberships fills a gap in adult literacy programming greatly needed in our community.
This year’s book sale will be held Wednesday, March 12th – Saturday, March 15th in Literacy Connections large meeting room at 2001 E. Ash Street next to the Senior Center. Parking is available.
A preview night will be held for current Friends of the Library and Friends of Literacy members on Tuesday, March 11th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Membership sign-ups are available at the door.
The book sale opens to the general public on Wednesday, March 12th from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and will be open on Thursday from 10:00 – 7:30 and Friday from 10:00 – 6:00. Payments can be made by cash, check or credit card.
Saturday will be the final day of the sale this year and will run from 1:00 – 5:00 while books are still available. Thank you for being part of our story!
