Celebrating National Doctors’ Day at UNC Wayne

On this National Doctors’ Day, UNC Health Wayne proudly recognizes the dedication and compassion of our physicians who provide exceptional care to our community. From our 14 UNC Physicians Network (UNCPN) clinics to the skilled hospitalists, ICU physicians, and neonatologists working within our hospital, our doctors play a vital role in ensuring high-quality care for every patient.

Their relentless commitment to excellence has helped us achieve accreditation as both a Stroke Center and a Chest Pain Center, ensuring that our community has access to advanced, life-saving care when it matters most. These achievements reflect the skill and teamwork of our physicians, who continue to raise the standard of healthcare in Wayne County.
