I’m 70 years old. I’d rather tip someone to bag my groceries than have to do it myself! Yet they only have a couple of regular registers and a bunch of self-service ones.

The election has been over since November 5th. Shouldn't all the campaign signs be removed by now? 

I would love to see some of us retirees connect. Some of us are active and in good health who could help those who might not be as fortunate. I hate seeing us taken advantage of neglected or lonely.

This county needs a low cost spay/neuter clinic for pets and an ordinance that people have to spay/neuter unless they have a licensed registered kennel which should be inspected regularly. Far too many irresponsible people dumping pets because the human did not do the right thing. We need the punishment for animal abuse and abandonment to result in high fines and jail time.

Be kind to everyone. People are fighting battles every day!

Need more things for children and teens to do. Trampoline parks, a water park, places to learn Science, more arts and places to help enjoy growing up in this community.

All the senseless heartbreaking crime, killings, shootings (esp. Police officers ) in our USofA . . . . .if you deliberately, intentionally TAKE a life - you GIVE a life. Done!!! Folks will think twice before shooting!! PROVEN medical/mental exceptions. / NC

The Roads in the city limits are terrible. I drive down Stoney Creek Parkway, Harris, Elm, Audubon, Mulberry, Walnut and a few other city streets in housing subdivisions and the roads are so bumpy. They really need to be repaved. I plan to contact Councilman Williams since it is in his district and the roads are so bad. Driving a school bus is hard enough with the kids but the roads make it even worse.

I support MASS DEPORTATIONS!

Can someone PLEASE do something about people going door to door, begging for CASH?

I mean, not even a No Trespassing, No Soliciting sign had any effect.

For reference, I have a picture I can post of this particular individual…if allowed.

How about a discussion about the rising crime and begging? What is being done to help alleviate?

Downtown Goldsboro seems to be the place to be!  More new businesses are coming in, the two-hour parking limit seems to be working, beggars on Center St is down, and generally, Center Street is looking great!

Hopefully, with the mandate electing Donald Trump, American voters made November 5th, the country and Wayne County will soon see an improvement in our economy, lower-crime and fewer illegal immigrants.

Seems Wayne County Walmarts are going to mostly all self-checkout counters.  You would think that this will lower their labor costs while at the same time lowering grocery prices, huh?

This is to the lady that came into Walmart parking lot and decided to speed through the lot and cut my steps off, when the respectful thing is to stop and let pedestrians across the street. I hope you never need anyone to slow down or stop for you in life! Got your tag number even though you tried to hide in the parking lot!
