DITR's Elmo

Meet Elmo.

He’s is very smart pup and food motivated which helps with training. He has never turned down food or a treat! Elmo has already learned to SIT and STAY on command and is learning other basic obedience.

His favorite activities include digging, playing with squeaky toys and chewing on bones. He likes to play fetch, but it usually ends up in a game of keep away.

Elmo gets along well with other dogs – even bigger ones – and kids. We are unsure about cats as he is not around them. He would love to live with an active family.

When about 9pm hits, he's ready for bed. It doesn't matter if you are or not, he's going to sleep. He loves to cuddle and will definitely keep you warm on those chilly nights!

Elmo is up-to-date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped and being maintained on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention.

An application is required along with a home visit and small adoption fee.

Fenced in yard required (no invisible or electric fencing) Applicants must be 25 yrs. or older.

All DITR dogs are fostered in homes and are INDOOR dogs.
