From Read Wayne at the Wayne County Public Library

Thanks to the members of Goldsboro's David Williams Chapter of the North Carolina Society DAR, over 100 Welcome Baby Bags were packed and an additional 150 sets of English and Spanish materials were prepared for newborn babies and their parents at UNC Health Wayne.

We are thankful for their hours of hard work and their dedication to building a literacy-rich community through high-quality educational opportunities. The Welcome Baby-Bag program at the Wayne County Public Library is successful because of the wonderful volunteers that seek to give back to the community.
