Wayne County Museum May Events
Friday, May 3rd, 2pm - Ribbon-Cutting Dedication Ceremony. A dedicationand celebration of the Museum's new and expanded parking lot. Specialguest appearance by NC State Rep. John Bell who will be dedicating thenew parking lot and making remarks.
Saturday, May 4th, 10:30am - Downtown History Walking Tour. The freetour meets in the lobby of the Museum at 10:30 and lasts about 1.5hours. The tour will cover the history of Goldsboro, and varioushistoric sites and buildings downtown. Please wear comfy shoes
Saturday, May 25th, 10am-5pm -Last day of the "Rooted in Faith" BlackHistory exhibit
Tues-Friday, May 28-31st - The Museum will be closed for theinstallation of a new exhibit opening June 1st, called "ForbiddenSpirits" all about moonshine, prohibition, and bootlegging in NC.
