Why is Rosewood Road Still closed from Oakland Church Road to Old Smithfield Road in the Rosewood Community? That road has been closed for over 6 months.

I think we need more resources for homeless like places to shower and places to stay . There are a lot of old buildings that could be fixed. And remember some people didn't ask to be like this. Maybe have a bike giveaway for the ones that are able to ride.

I think some of these streets are worse than New York. Put some money in these streets not just patch here and there but fix them. Harris Street you have to drive in the middle of the street to miss the holes.

There should be more accountability regarding the incident of the police assaulting a Black man, who was handcuffed, and wearing a medical boot.

For those anxiously awaiting deportation of undocumented citizens, I hope you realize that many businesses in our county would collapse. Tobacco farmers, Walmart, Case Farms, Butterball, and many more. It is a myth that undocumented citizens don’t pay taxes. They do and get nothing back for it. 

I’m horrified that we still live in a time where a policeman will body slam a restrained black man. We’ve got to do better!

What’s really going on with the town of Mt. Olive? Whatever became of the state and federal cases (FBI, SBI) of the police dept and Sherriff department? Updates?

I have no problem with migrants coming into our County or our Country.  Just do it legally.

Why is the Pickle Fest Car Show called off? No fun without the car show!

I appreciate the renovated look of downtown; however, I'm very concerned about the lack of consideration for our disabled community members and guests. Parking is extremely limited--only 4 spaces--and none is sufficient for a van ramp.

As a person ìn a wheelchair and uses a van with a ramp I find it challenging to find parking and get around. Much is not AĎA compliant.

I want to thank everyone who works with Hospice. They are so very compassionate and caring for my husband for nine months. May God Bless Them. Love and prayers for them all! CH

People, there are so many scams coming in on our phones and online.  Make sure you know exactly who you are talking to and giving your information to before doing so! Don’t be a victim!

Can we please talk about teacher pay? NC is 42nd in the nation for teacher pay. How do we get together as a community and pressure the Legislature to properly fund our teachers and our schools?

Why is my light bill high? I looked & our bill, the energy charge was $262 & then they add the rider charge almost $45.00. When they add to the bill because they say they can, then the normal charges are added the bill was $351! Last month it was $221.

I would like to suggest reflective paint on local streets for night driving. Some of the lines are very hard to see at night.

In Goldsboro, are lawn care contractors allowed to dump the clippings and other yard waste in the street for the city to clean up on recycling day or must they take it away and dispose of it themselves at the compost site? It’s really getting ridiculous!

To the lady driving the Jeep on Antioch Rd who tried to pass multiple vehicles including both me and my wife while we were turning left into our driveway by cutting my wife off from turning in behind me, your impatience is going to get people killed. 15 seconds for two people to make a left turn or 15 hours in the hospital? Which will it be?

Our Local Municipalities also should look at requirements for businesses being allowed to open. It appears the priorities are in the "wrong place" when it comes to what's best for the citizens. I'm aware of SEVERAL businesses (positive/outreach) that have attempted to operate/open, allowing resources to be added to our communities for individuals, however they were NOT able to financially meet the "Beautify Wayne" standards (pave parking lots, plant bushes/trees, etc. on the outside of the property that they were attempting to RENT). MEANWHILE, there are VAPE/SMOKE/HOOKAH stores on EVERY BLOCK! I completely understand the idea of finances, however Nobody's City/County stands to be "beautiful" if we place unnecessary requirements on the individuals who are most likely able to Help those in need.
